So our Redwoods are 2-2.  We could just as easily been 0-4, 3-1, or 4-0. I’m not seeing any consistency, except that you can’t change the channel until the game is over.
With 2 games left, one of which is against the Tuskers, we cannot afford to make any more mistakes.  From my comfy armchair, here is my opinion:
1. The Defense seems to man up only when they have to.

The California Redwoods travel to face the UFL’s best team, the Florida Tuskers.  A win ties the Redwoods atop the standings, while a loss muddies up the playoff picture.
Here is what Coach Green said about the 2-0 Tuskers.
“Florida is a solid team—they’re a fabulous team. They’ve got 10 players that have been in the Super Bowl and 40 players that have been in the NFL. Tatum Bell, Michael Pittman—those guys can really run the ball.”

Redwoods Sign 31 Players!

(AP) – The California Redwoods of the new United Football League signed 31 players Tuesday, including former NFL players Obafemi Ayanbadejo and B.J. Sams.
The Redwoods begin the season on Oct. 17 against the New York Sentinels in the four-team UFL. Las Vegas and Orlando also have teams.
Fullback Ayanbadejo played nine seasons in the NFL, but not since 2006, and won a Super Bowl with Baltimore. His contract was terminated by the Bears in 2007 after he completed a four-game suspension for violating the league’s policy on anabolic steroids and related …
