The UFL has just about finalized the names for the premeire season.

New York Sentinels                    ??????  
I think they will stay with New York Sentinels and use BLACK as the main uniform color.  It sets them up nicely for a Radiers-Sentinels exhibition game, don’t you think?

At a press conference today, United Football League Commissioner Michael Huyghue announced the California franchise will be named the Redwoods and unveiled innovative team uniforms showcasing the Redwoods’ “Premiere” season colors of green, blue and white.
 
So, does this mean that the 2010-2011 season will feature new team colors?

I get the \”Green Grass, Blue Sky, Silver Innovation\” color thing.

But did the league really have to base the premiere season uniform colors based on them?

Let's see…sky blue…not exactly a masculine color.  Only UCLA gets away with having powder blue, and we won't even talk about how they fare in football. 

The Green Grass?  Try shades closer to Philadephia Eagles Or Green Bay Packers Green instead.  Grass Green is a little to poofy for football.

Oh well, it's too late.  The uniforms have been showed and ordered.  We are stuck until next …
